Vest and Armour Warranty 

 

Designed in CANADA 🍁and made to our specifications, our 1000 denier black solution-dyed Cordura outer and reflective outer have a one-year warranty on manufacturing defects. Please note wear from overstretching the elastic at the sides is not covered; this elastic is similar to the elastic used in Blundstone boots and is for comfort only, not to snug the fit. Please refer to the laundry tag for care instructions. If you have a warranty question or think your issue qualifies for coverage, please contact us at info@defenseopticsgroup.com and we will provide next-steps. Usually, we provide a replacement outer once a manufacturing defect is approved, proof of purchase provided, and the vest was purchased within the one-year warranty period.

 

Our exclusive NIJ.07 HG2 (previously NIJ.06 IIIa) armour provides protection for 5 years from date of issue (not date of manufacture) and may provide protection for much longer. The panels have a one-year warranty on manufacturing defects from date of purchase (applies to the outer cover). Made in CANADA 🍁

 

Armour T-Shirts and Concealed Vest Outers Warranty

 

We provide a thirty-day warranty on manufacturing defects from date of purchase. Please refer to the laundry tag for care instructions.

 

Anti-Slash Glove Warranty

 

Our Leather/Spectra anti-slash gloves have a one-year warranty from date of purchase on manufacturing defects. Wear from normal use is excluded. Please contact us at info@defenseopticsgroup.com with warranty questions and we will provide next steps. All third-party gloves, such as HWI, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Handcuff and Baton Warranty

 

Smith & Wesson Model 100-1 handcuffs are backed by a lifetime warranty covering

manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty ensures repair or

replacement by S&W if a defect is found, it is generally voided by misuse, abuse, improper

maintenance, or unauthorized alterations. The handcuffs are constructed of nickel-plated carbon steel with heat-treated internal lock works for durability. We always suggest cleaning the cuffs with dish soap and water, then oil with a very light oil (3 in 1) or even WD40 before re-issuing.Please contact us, not Smith and Wesson, if you think you have a pair that would be covered under warranty as we will take care of you.

ASP provides a lifetime warranty for the Sentry handcuffs, covering defects in materials and

workmanship. This warranty includes free repair or replacement for qualified, defective

products, but excludes damage from misuse, normal wear-and-tear, and cosmetic damage.

Follow the cleaning and oiling procedure outlined above for the S&W cuffs and contact us if you think you are eligible for a warranty replacement pair.

Smith & Wesson SWBAT21 (21-inch Heat Treated Collapsible Baton) is covered by a limited

lifetime warranty. The warranty covers manufacturer's defects in workmanship, construction, or materials under normal use and conditions. The warranty generally does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or improper use (such as using the baton as a pry bar or hitting extremely hard, non-yielding surfaces). If a defect is found, the product is usually repaired or replaced. Once again, contact us if you think you are eligible for a warranty replacement.

The item(s) in question would need to be returned to us at your expense. Once inspected and deemed qualified we will replace your item free of charge.
